Monterosso al Mare actually consists of two district area: The Old Town and the New Town. The old town is located south of the castle and features a number of attractions including Piazza Garibaldi and a couple of old churches: St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Cappuccin Monks.
Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of this community from the hilltop located directly to the south.
